Read and send chat as yourself, moderate from the message row, and clear AutoMod holds from a lane that will not let you miss them.
Reading chat
Chat paces itself. When the channel is quiet, messages appear as they arrive. When it speeds up, the dock slows the flush rate and groups arrivals so the pane stays readable instead of becoming a blur. There is nothing to configure: it adapts to how fast chat is actually moving.
Hovering the pane holds it still. New messages queue rather than pushing the one you are reading off screen, and a pill tells you how many are waiting. Move the pointer away and it catches up.
The must-see lane
Some messages are easy to lose in a fast chat, so the dock lifts them into a short lane above the main flow: mentions of you, first-time chatters, and questions. It holds at most four, and they age out after five minutes. Messages from your mods are left in the main flow, since they are not the ones you are scanning for.
Moderating from a message
Hover a message and its moderation buttons appear.

Everything here is attributed to you on Twitch, not to a bot.
The viewer card
Click a name to open their card. It shows their avatar, display name, login, and when the account was created, with a link to their Twitch channel.
From the card you can time out for 10 minutes, ban, unban, or warn. Three tabs sit underneath: their chat history in your channel, which is searchable, their moderation record, and your notes. Notes are free text and stored by OverlayThing rather than synced to Twitch. They are shared across your whole moderation team: anyone with a dock for your channel sees and can overwrite the same note, so treat them as team notes, not private ones.
Sending
The composer sends as your account, with emote autocomplete and viewer-name completion. Slash commands work. If a send is rejected, your text stays in the box rather than vanishing.
If your dock URL does not carry the send permission, the composer is replaced with a short explanation of why rather than a dead input box.
Needs You
When AutoMod holds a message for review, it appears in the Needs You lane. This is the one part of the dock that deliberately nags: cards do not expire on their own, and they grow more visually urgent the longer they sit, going from calm to amber after a minute and pulsing after two.
Each card offers Allow, Deny, and Inspect. With a card focused you can press A or X. Deleting the held message clears its card too, so a message you remove elsewhere does not leave a stale card behind.
When followers-only, subs-only, emote-only, slow, unique-chat or Shield Mode are on, a banner says so. In a cramped dock it collapses to a single line you can tap to see the full list, which is what you want when someone asks why they cannot talk.
